Will simply clipping some speaker wire to my shortwaves antenna improve reception? - improve your shortwave antenna
I'm not a fan of super-short wave. I bought a very nice model for the little handheld, with whom they have a reasonable amount of stations around the world have tape. I listen for pleasure, nothing more. If I can do something to just a few more stops to pick up in the night, or why I came clear, I will. I hear where alligator clips and son and all, but some mentioned sauldering and everything. More complicated than I can handle, lol. I just want to know if I have a wire clip to my antenna with a clip, and hang in the window or something, is the ability to improve the recording of short wave? Or people want more than that if you say mention "cut a speaker cable with alligator clip?

Duh is right. When it comes to antennas that are superior to the usual rules and far greater. The largest is the cable is longer, will be taking the ad. The higher it is so crucial for the short wave, but should within a reasonable distance on the earth, is 6 feet or more. It is also important. This means stay away from other objects, including objects made of metal. Run the cable out the window at a tree or something like that would be a good idea. Enjoy the hobby is fun.
No, that's what they mean. An alligator clip is one of those little spring-loaded clip with the roughness of the jaw, the inside - and alligator clip. Overall, the only way to try to find out. You will not hurt. And if you do not have a clip, only the wind to the end a few times, a metal strip.
A short-wave antenna is a little AM / FM (and it will work for both bands), but like I said, can not hurt.
If it works, you know. There are some SW fans who attend this class, perhaps with a pipe in a better response.
